| AMT Construction Services specializes in residential material takeoffs. Our takeoffs are performed by construction veterans using assemblies to draw from a custom data base built to reflect Western building practices. Our lists are used by lumberyards, contractors, architects and homeowners to obtain material pricing for home building.
ACCURACY
Using digitizers and assembly based data greatly increase the accuracy of our takeoffs. Our software allows us to review each assemblys' quantities and answer questions that may arise. Our customized data base can be manipulated to meet any home design. Our lists are organized from the ground up, the way you would build the house and order from the supplier. Given detailed plans we can account for most items. For less detailed plans we rely on 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Unclear or unspecified items are noted, as are discrepancies that we catch while reviewing the plan. The level of detail is up to you. Please note that we use highlighters, red marker and pen to increase our speed and accuracy.
TURNAROUND
Typical turnaround time is ten working days from the receipt of a set of plans. Once we are finished with the takeoff it is immediately e-mailed to your office. The plans are then shipped at no additional charge by priority mail. Costs above priority, for rush shipping, are added. If requested we can keep the copy for future reference.
